Paragliding is yet another thrilling adventure sports that can
be experienced in Lake city of Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the Nepal’s most
beautiful city placed in the lap of Machhapuchhare and is the gateway to Annapurna
region. Pokhara is developing itself as the best destination around the world
for Paragliding. This wonderfully exciting and fulfilling flight offers us
unparalleled magnificence of as you fly over villages, monasteries, temples,
lakes and forests. Sharing the airspace with eagles, kites and Himalayan
griffins during the flight gives you an epoch creating memories.
The flight location is situated within the 20min jeep ride
from Pokhara to Sarangkot which is at the elevation of 2000ft. this is the
place where we will take off. Sarangkot offers the mountain vista of
Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. Here three day introductory course is done
to beginners while Tandem flights where you can fly with an instructor and
offered for those who are not experienced. The paragliding is designed for
comfort and safety. While flying you can sit and get relaxed taking pictures
and enjoy the scenery with an awesome feeling. This short trip of around one
and half hour is done when you have a rest day in Pokhara.
