A challenging camping trek that circumnavigates one of the highest and most beautiful mountains in Nepal. Beginning at low elevation, the route will take trekkers through remote areas where the Tibetan influence is strong. The climb to Larkya La (5100m), which is not difficult, is one of the most dramatic passes in the Himalaya.
There are two options for completing this trek. For those with the time and the interest, you can join with and continue on the Annapurna Circuit. However, completing the trek via Besi Sehar, which is shorter and easier, is also a fine way to finish this outstanding trek and is detailed here.
