Overview
Rafting in Trishuli gives every rafter an admirable opportunity to witness the diverse land topography, cultural heritage and wide range of flora and fauna of the country. With a right length of time, thrilling rapids which are not much difficult and easily accessible from Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara makes this rafting trip an ideal one. The rapids of this river can be defined as big and bouncy with relatively safe flips. This grade 3 rafting trip of Trishuli is most famous among the novice rafters. But during the monsoon the rivers turns out to be quite furious where rafting will be challenging with much more adventure giving even an experienced rafter an ample dose of adrenaline rush. This exciting and heart pounding trip is surely not be missed.
Trishuli River rafting start from Charaudi and to Kuringhat17km for a single day return trip and Chauraudi to Simaltar for two days trip which 41km and Baireni to Simaltar for three days trip covering 56km. Trishuli River rafting is done in camping basis. If the itinerary does not suit your time frame we can change it according to your need.
Itinerary Detail
Trishuli River Rafting Itinerary:
1 Day Trip
Early in the morning we will have our breakfast and drive
for around 3 to 4 hours to the raft put in point at Charaudi. Before rafting
the guide will give you short briefing about the safety measures and the rapids
you will be facing. Soon after this you will begin your rafting journey for
about 4hours to Kuringhat encountering grade II and III rapids. Once you have
completed your rafting you can either drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or
Chitwan.
2 Day Trip
Day 1
Early in the morning we will have our breakfast and drive
for around 3 to 4 hours to the raft put in point at Charaudi. Before rafting
the guide will give you short briefing about the safety measures and the rapids
you will be facing. Soon after this you will begin your rafting journey for
about 4hours to Kuringhat encountering grade II and III rapids. We will set our
camp in Kurintar on the beach in Trishuli valley.
Day 2
After having breakfast we will continue our rafting in a
leisurely pace. We will encounter Mugling rapids and pass Marshyangdi River
which has flown down the Manang valley. Today we will raft within the forested
canyon one of the many in the Mahabharat range. The takeout point of the trip
is at Simaltar from where one can drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or
Chitwan.
