Overview:

Pokhara placed in the lap of Machhapuchhare is one of the most beautiful lake cities in the world. Situated at the altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu the beauty of the city is enhanced by the beautiful lakes and loom of Himalayas. The most preferred destination by the tourist this paradise is also the gateway to the most celebrated Annapurna region.

Biking around Pokhara takes you through the wide paths and old jeep trails accompanied by some technical single tracks. With a pleasing environment all year around and uber hospitable nature of Pokhareli people makes this place even more fascinating and captivating.

Itinerary Detail

Pokhara Around Biking Trip Itinerary

Day 01:  Drive or Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Pokhara located 200km west of Kathmandu demands 7hours of bus drive to get there. We will get there by tourist bus which leaves from Kantipath( Pokhara) to Pokhara. The drive follows the Trishuli River. Throughout the whole path we will be greeted by the magical landscape. In the evening we can do some sightseeing in Pokhara. Or you too can take a 30min scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02:
Start with a uphill ride to Sarankot which is situated 15kms away from Lakeside. Today we will mostly ride through the paved road and a 10km off road to Naudanda and again jump into the dusty downhill ride to Fewa Lake. Back of hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03:
Starting through the main city of Mahendrapool we will make our way to British Gurkha Camp. The trail is a both uphill and downhill between Ghachok and Lhachok and after crossing Bhurjung Khola we will ride to Hemja which offers the magical view of regal Annapurna south and Machhapuchhare.

Day 04:
Today we will mostly ride through David’s falls. Following the 7km of Jeep track to the Kristi Danda which grants the spectacular mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna and Machhapuchhare we will make our way to Nirmal danda. From Nirmal danda the track is off road with a single trail which takes to Seti River and back to hotel.

Day 05:
We will bike along the highway to Tangsen and Butwal we will go the Biswa Santi Stupa( World Peace Pagoda).

Day 06:
Following the Pokhara Kathmandu Highway we will ride 14km and turn left to Begnas Lake. After having our lunch we will climb 6km up to Kalikastan and then follow the jeep track to 7km which takes us to Bijaypur Khola and ultimately to the hotel.
